Perfect Monitoring Service after 5years of
research and at an investment of over 1 Million Dollars has in association
with world's leading solution providers has deployed enhanced capabilities
combining digital data capturing from television & radio to automated
ad recognition system through compound digital fingerprinting technology.
This provides end-user autonomy for better management of media monitoring
data through pre-packaged analysis in analytic applications & ad
audit in basic monitoring reports.
Schematic Illustration of the Automated Ad Monitoring System
The telecast source from the Dish Antenna via the decoder is digitally
captured as files in a recording server.
Here its pertinent to note that redundancy in recording is built through
the traditional VCR recording system.
Captured Data is processed for Automatic AD detection.
Here the system creates unique compound digital fingerprint from the
transmission of the audio.
The revolutionary audio processing and fingerprint technology compares
the transmisions fingerprint with the master fingerprint existing in
the media servers.
The comparison leads to two instances:
Firstly, where the system finds an exact match.
Secondly, where the system finds no match.
Considering the first instance, where the system
finds the exact match, the Second Level fingerprint comparison for video
happens. A frame by frame picture matching based on which the results
of the exact match is declared.
In the second instance where there is no match found, it?s logical
to conclude, with the AD telecast is its first flight & doesn?t
have a reference digital fingerprint in the processing servers.
On such instance, Meta Data for the new AD is created. The system generates
a compound digital fingerprint, which is unique to the AD. This is stored
in the media server for future comparisons.
Here the data attendant at the monitoring station feeds in:
Start & end timings of the program, Puts breaks, Puts segments and
Creates new masters.
The data then is updated in the Database server. This is channelised
as reports in the reporting server and finally delivered to the USERS.
